***2024 MASK MANDATE***

Everyone (age 2+) is required to wear an approved Mask while attending Penguicon 2024. An approved Mask must, at a minimum; fit properly and snuggly, fully covering your nose and mouth, and secure under your chin.

Masks/Face Coverings Not Permitted:

  • Masks with exhalation valves
  • Face coverings, including bandanas, that are unable to be secured under your chin
  • Neck Gaitors
  • Masks with mesh materials
  • Masks that contain holes or are significantly damaged
  • Costume masks
  • Clear, open bottom, plastic face shields, only. (may be worn in conjunction with an approved mask)

This policy applies to all members (Age 2+) including staff, dealers, artists, presenters, guests, and cosplayers, regardless of an individual’s vaccination status. There are no exceptions to the Mask Mandate, however, as always, email us at [email protected] for help with accommodations for those with disabilities.

DUE TO ONGOING CHANGES REGARDING TESTING AND VACCINES:

2024 PENGUICON WILL NOT REQUIRE PROOF OF VACCINATION OR NEGATIVE COVID-19 TESTING. MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.

Penguicon 2024 will be held from April 26th to April 28th at the Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest Hotel.

Hotel Information

Penguicon 2024 will be held at the Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest. You can book your room for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights here.

If you need to check out on Monday instead of Sunday, you must book Sunday night separately at the hotel’s standard pricing. Once you’ve created a separate booking for Sunday night, please fill out this form with both of your confirmation numbers so that we can try to make sure you don’t have to change rooms for your final night.

We look forward to experiencing our first new hotel in many years, but please be patient as we navigate the newness.

Tickets are $85. Online ticket sales end on April 26th, 2024, but tickets will still be available at the door starting in the afternoon of Friday, April 26th.

Fees?

We had two options: charge $75/80 and be transparent about the fees, or charge $85/90 and make it look like we’ve raised prices when we would have covered those fees ourselves. We understand it’s no fun, but this is the reality of ticket sales. At-the-door ticket sales will also have these fees.

Kids?

Children 11 and under will receive a free badge (no fees!), but they MUST be badged so that we can track down who they belong to in case they come unattached from their guardians.

Presenter/Maker/Staff Badge?

Please contact the person you’ve been working with, and they will provide you with a code for the $55 (plus fees) badge rate.
