Join us for a hands-on, beginner-friendly Introduction to Soldering Workshop at i3 Detroit, where you’ll build your very own light-up electronic bug! Whether you’ve never picked up a soldering iron or just want a fun Saturday project, this is a great way to get started with simple electronics and soldering basics.

The LED Weevil Eye Bug! A cute, critter-shaped circuit board with glowing LED eyes! It’s a small, simple project that’s perfect for learning core skills.

👩‍🔧 What You’ll Learn:

• How to safely use a soldering iron
• The basics of through-hole soldering
• How electronic components work together in a simple circuit
