Underground Speakeasy Drink Recipes

Whether or not you were able to join us at ConFusion, we wanted to share a little piece of The Underground Speakeasy with you! Our handcrafted cocktails (and mocktails!) were a hit, and now you can recreate the experience at home.

We’ve put together the official drink recipes from the event so you can sip, stir, and enjoy a taste of the Speakeasy anytime.

🍀Clover Club Punch

A refreshing and slightly tart lemonade-forward drink with rich caramelized spice from molasses syrup, and a vibrant raspberry sweetness that balances citrusy brightness with a hint of warmth.

  • 1/2 cup lemonade
  • 1 tbsp raspberry syrup (see recipe below)
  • 1 tsp dash spiced molasses syrup (see recipe below)
  • 2.2oz white rum (optional)

Mix together vigorously and serve over ice with a lemon wedge or a cinnamon stick garnish.

For the raspberry syrup

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup raspberries (or frozen and thawed)

Combine everything in a sauce pan and cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved and raspberries have broken down, stirring regularly. Allow to come to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Allow to cool a bit, then strain into a mason jar or other airtight container. Good in the fridge for up to 3 weeks!

For the spiced molasses syrup

  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Combine everything in a sauce pan and cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, stirring regularly. Allow to come to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mixture is slightly thickened. Allow to cool a bit, then strain through fine sieve into a mason jar or other airtight container. Will keep in the fridge for a long time!

🐝Bee’s Knees Punch

A bright, citrusy, and herbal beverage with a smooth honey sweetness and fragrant rosemary notes, perfectly balanced with tart lemonade for a crisp, refreshing finish.

  • 1/2 cup lemonade
  • 1 tbsp rosemary honey syrup (recipe below)
  • 2.2oz gin (optional)

Mix together vigorously and serve over ice with a rosemary sprig garnish. Optionally top off with a little lemon seltzer for an extra refreshing fizz!

For the rosemary honey syrup

  • 4 sprigs rosemary
  • 2.5 cups honey
  • 2.5 cups water

Combine everything into a large sauce pan and bring to a boil, stirring until the honey dissolves. Reduce heat and allow to simmer for 6 minutes, then remove from heat and steep for 20 minutes. Allow to cool, remove rosemary sprigs, strain into a mason jar or other airtight container. Keeps in fridge for a long time!
