Been using it for almost 2 years now on my main desktop since Vista came out. Yes, I use Windows but I dual boot with Debian.
Its a rar file which is just like an archive file just like zip or tar file. You will need to download a third party app to open it and extract the files. I recommend 7-Zip. You will also need to "patch" your Windows configuration files to except the themes as they may not work right, especially if you've upgraded to XP Service Pack 3. If you read further down in the article comments, you find you will need to go a Google search for "uxtheme.dll sp3" and then backup (copy and rename) and replace all instances of "uxtheme.dll" in your Windows system folders with the file. You're system will warn you about altering this file, except the change so it will work. You will probably have to reboot; then you will be able to use the theme successfully. I have an automated patcher but I can't remember which website I got it from but I can send it to you if you want offlist.
Like any hack, this is be done at your own risk and not on a work machine as you will probably cheese off your IT department. If you aren't comfortable with altering your system, don't do it or have an experienced geek do it for you. Contact me offlist if you have any questions.
