True, but does that feedback get shared with Programming for future use?

I dislike the idea of a rating system myself.  Not because of the fairness 
issue (all systems are imperfect) but because I believe that the idea that 
one has to compete just to get compensated for contributing will repel more 
people than it attracts.  

Penguicon is meant to be *fun*.  If it stops being fun, there will no longer 
be a point to doing it.  And any idea--for programming, or anything 
else--that seriously cuts into the "fun" factor should be taken out and shot.
