And if you do that to the only working system you have, oh well.  I'm 
all in favor of looking for better, but not at the expense of what is 
working currently.  I'll play with new idea,but not in my production 
environment.

Change must show a degree of obvious improvement, and demonstrate that 
it is truly needed or if not needed, would be something that would make 
things better.

Change for the sake of change is usually not good.
