[penguicon-general] does anyone have an opinion?

I hope to get the Canon HV20, with a shotgun mic that attaches to the
hotshoe (probably the DM-50 mic).
It's HD, but with decent low light performance for the price. It
still uses DV tape, which I consider a plus. Firewire (or ieee1394,
whichever way you roll) is still the standard in my opinion.
It's still not a "pro" level camera, but the results seem stunning.
And no, I haven't gotten one yet, so don't judge the camera on the
quality of the videos I do for Linux Journal. :) (I use an old 8MM
digital camera for that)
