[penguicon-general] Mission to MARCON

Many of you probably read about how much fun CapriCon was from the various
members of Michigan fandom that made it down there. As one of them, I can
say that it was an absolute blast.

Well, we're going to do it again at MARCON, and AASFA has agreed to help
support some of the financial burden to help us make the trip!  We have a
van, hotel rooms lined up, memberships, and some truly horrific music to
listen to on the way down (although I suppose we could be convinced
otherwise on that last one), and it only costs $100 to join the fun.

That's right, for $100 you get:

* Convention membership for the weekend
* A ride to and from Columbus with a bunch of fun folks
* A minimally shared hotel room (I would assume you will be sharing with 2
other people, depending on the guy-to-girl ratio).

The only thing you have to worry about is spending money while you're down
there for food and trinkets.

The fun is going to start on Friday afternoon/evening on our drive down (as
early as the collective group can arrange to leave) and end Sunday
afternoon/evening (as late as the collective group can acceptably get back).
In fact, if there is enough desire, since it happens to be a long weekend
(Memorial Day weekend) it is likely that there will be a party to follow!

If you want to join us, or if you have questions, please email me. Money
will have to be in my 1 May (unless you contact me to make alternate
arrangements), but the entire thing is going to be first come, first serve.
When we run out of room, we run out of room, so let me know quickly!
