I'm sure nobody's heard of this person, but it doesn't matter, because it's
just too cool to resist.
I want to suggest Thiago Olson be a Nifty or even a GoH in 2007.
Why?
Because he's 17 years old, and he built a NUCLEAR FUSION REACTOR in his
basement! Which, you have to admit, is way cooler even than running Linux
on a dead badger. And even better than the guy a couple years back that
built a supercomputer out of interconnect PS2s. And Thiago actually lives
in Michigan, so he'd be a *cheap* guest!

Maybe he can even bring the reactor in. Imagine basking by the pool in the
warm blue light of Cherenkov radiation...

"I hear that in the wake of the forged-documents story Dan Rather spends his
evenings in the cellar at CBS's 'black rock' (headquarters) wearing a cape
and playing a pipe-organ upon which he pounds out Teutonic funereal dirges
while singing about how he will one day eat Karl Rove's heart." -- Jonah
