Hi Sarah,
Not sure this is what you are after, but you can configure Opera to
pretend it is IE by setting the user agent header. Whenever a browser
requests a web page from a server it sends the user agent header to the
server. Some websites use this setting to block certain browsers etc.
MSN.com famously blocked the Opera browser from accessing the website
back in 2001, prompting Opera to retaliate by releasing the special Bork
edition of Opera which displayed gibberish instead of MSN.com but not
instead of any other web site.
