Hi, niteshad!
To answer your questions: I'm not sure why range is in quotes. I've asked
the person who's in charge of the page to change that. I assume that they
were stylistic, and that they didn't count on there being any confusion.
The range in question is can be found online at :
http://www.firinglineguns.com/
They are an indoor range - their address is on their web page and printed
directions will be printed out for the event itself starting from the hotel.
This is an indoor pistol range. We decided to go with an indoor range because
they are able to provide safety equipment (eyes and ears) along with firearm
rentals. In addition, indoor wether is much less risky this time of year!
Under their old policies (that I cannot find online any more), the range we
are going to would allow people to bring their own ammunition, providing that
it was inspected and approved by store/range officials. However, since we
are looking to have ~20 people at this event, having 20+ individual lots of
ammunition approved would be unreasonable. The simple way to address this is
to prohibit outside ammunition coming in. It makes the store like us more
(for the ammo sales), and keeps the headaches down for everybody.
Please let me know if you have any other questions that I can answer.
