[penguicon-general] I can't heal my laptop on my own

I have a truly wonderful laptop with a 64-bit AMD processor that I love to
death.  Unfortunately, today I've wanted to do nothing more than chuck Narly
out the window.  Something about the way the wireless router/modem/DSL
thingy is behaving has caused XP(home) to become unstable and he keeps
crashing in this strange way without a blue screen of death.

Is there anyone out there with the knowledge, time and inclination this
weekend to help me either heal the windows on my machine or help me turn him
into a Linux box that runs windows as a virtual machine??  If so, please
*call* me (734-787-1768) because without knowing what the laptop is really
doing I don't know how long/often I'll be able to see my email.
