In principle, it should be possible. As I recall, the computer lounge
had some amount of trouble getting the hotel to bring a line out there
to their MythTV demo box this year. I don't think they had arranged it
with the hotel in advance.

I just searched my email for info about this, and found that Stan from
Greater Lansing Linux User Group (who brings the MythTV demo box for
the computer lounge) wants to do a presentation about MythTV in 2008
as well. Perhaps the event can be a collaboration with Bo. I don't
know Stan's last name; Marshal and Charles, can you ask Stan about
this and put him in touch with Tim Schmidt at timschmidt at gmail.com?

This is a separate issue from getting general cable service out to a
MythTV box in the demo space. The closed-circuit hotel channel exists,
but we'll know after the 28th if we will be using it. I was going to
use it for 2007 to play SF theme music and comedy songs, but they
suddenly said it was going to cost a silly amount of money, so I
dropped it.
