Sorry for anyone who gets this twice.. or multiple times! I'm sending these
to a few mailing lists that I'm on, where people might be interested!
Ok, here's the deal.
Deb is my bestest friend in the world, and she walks in the March of Dimes
Walk every year in Lansing, MI. This is a big deal because Deb was born
extremely premature and has Cerebral Palsy as a result... and has problems
walking because of this. Those of you who go to Cons in Michigan might
remember her... she used to come to ConClave and ConFusion. She hasn't made
it out to con in the past couple of years, but some of you might remember
her from this picture:

has also nicknamed herself as "The Wench Who Walks Funny" out at the
Michigan Renaissance Festival, so those of you from Ren Faire might know
her. If you don't know her, you should, no matter who you are, because Deb
is awesome!
Every year, a group of us from the Renaissance Festival walk with Deb to
support her physically and emotionally... and every other way we can. The
Walk is extremely difficult to do for Deb, but it is something that she
can't and won't give up doing. We are the first to start and the last to
finish every year... but she finishes the walk because this is something
that she believes in.
If you can, please visit her WalkAmerica page at
http://www.walkamerica.org/mstauri and donate. If you are unable to donate,
well wishes are wonderful also, but Deb has a goal to help every baby born
prematurely that she can, so all donations are appreciated.
The walk is the weekend after PenguiCon, and I'll be walking with her again
this year. I'll be collecting donations for her at both ConFusion and
PenguiCon if anyone will be at either convention and wants to donate a few
dollars and don't want to do it online.
Thank you everyone for helping. It really means a lot to both of us. And
if you can't donate anything, thank you for just being a good friend.
*hugs*
