Dan,
you see, the problem is that "novice" "intermediate" and "expert" are
relative terms. To me, anyone who knows how to use a command line is
not a "novice". But that stems from the error of saying a person is
globally either one or another. The reality is that a novice in one
area, such as LiveCD usage, can be intermediate in another, such as
command line usage, and expert in another. So what each event really
needs is a set of prerequisites.
