[penguicon-general] Food track - Take 2

It's coming down to time to get this finished. . . .And so I need to firm up
things.  Of the Eight panels I have had suggested firmly, 4 have no one who
stepped up to run it.

If your name is attached to one of the items below, please respond to me,
letting me know if you can / want to still do this panel, and what sort of
help you need.  Also, please give me some idea when you would like to do
this, so I can try to get it scheduled to a room.

If you see a panel idea that you would like to be involved, send me a line,
and I will add you in.  If you have ideas you are willing to host, let me
know also.

Ideas without backers will not be happening. . . So if you want it, you need
to help make it happen.

Details: Program to show people what ingredients look like and where to get
them, etc.

Panel: Easy Asian Cooking:
Details: IF you've got a location with a kitchenette or where an electric
wok could be set up, Lisa can show how to cook several impressive-tasting
and looking Asian dishes that can be done in a shockingly short time.  It
was suggested we could either do this Outside, on a charcoal grill, or we
could smuggle in a Electric Wok.

Details: There's a store called DiBruno's where we could pick up a dozen
different kinds of exotic chocolate bars, easy.

Details: I very much want to make sushi. And teach others how to do this.

Panel: Coffee Roasting
Details: Coffee Roasting using a hot air popcorn popper. I've been home
roasting coffee for around 10 years.  It was suggested that this could be
done outside, or on a Balcony off Con Suite.
