Consider yourself officially invited!  Local fen Tracy Worcester and Andy
Vinton are hosting!

Who: You, and other people you know who'd like to go a gathering with good
food and fun people on December 24th or 25th.
What: A two-day, open house style event, with food, fun people, chatting,
possible outbreaks of board or card games, or other forms of merriment.
When: December 24th, 4 p.m. until 4 a.m.(ish); December 25th, 2 p.m. until 2
a.m.(ish)
Where: 5675 Big Pine Drive, Ypsilanti, MI.
Why: For the fun of it. More below.
Notes: Bring food, games, instruments, and friends!

RSVP appreciated to allow food planning, but not required.

Re-posted from a prior entry: For those unfamiliar, Waifmas runs December
24th and December 25th. It is aimed at making sure I, and the various people
I know, have choices about whether to be social or solitary on the cultural
majority holiday. It also gives people an excuse to duck out of family
gatherings early, should they wish one. ("Oh, my friend Tracy's hosting
something, don't know how many people will be there, can't leave her *alone*
at the *holiday*...")

There is, obviously, no harm and no foul if you have other events you want
and/or need to be at. Consider this a completely guilt-free invitation,
whether you say yea or nay. There will, in all likelihood, be thundering
herds of food throughout the days, though no formal sit-down meal is
planned.
