[penguicon-general] SMOS Dinner May 11 In Redford

After discussion, the conchair Gerald Gentry and several of us agreed
the SMOS Dinner needs to be reestablished to occur every two weeks.
That was a great tradition John Guest started.

SMOFfing means talking about running conventions, and stands for
Secret Masters Of Fandom. This biweekly dinner has often been referred
to as SMOP, Secret Masters Of Penguicon. Sometimes it's SMOS, Secret
Masters Of SMOS, as a nod to the hacker tradition of recursive
acronyms.

What would you like to eat? Chicken and dumplings? Pasta? Brazilian
grilled steak? Multiples of the above? Let me know. If you're
interested in talking about what Penguicon is, what it could be, and
how to get from here to there, please attend! There will also be some
board gaming.
