Well, the food track definitely hasn't fallen outside the spirit yet.
Chocolate has been a tradition since at least 2.0, if not 1.0.
Anything done with liquid nitrogen, including ice cream, falls within
the spirit. Chupaquesos are a SF webcomic invention that we get
prepared for us by the creator himself, so that's definitely in the
spirit. Brazillian steak might be getting near the edge, but
participants in that (including myself) seemed pretty spirited about
it. :-)
