One of the uber-cool things that got scraped together for the Chicago
Perl Hackathon was a Google Maps mashup of all the restaurants and
coffee shops nearby, as well as useful stores like supermarkets, book
stores, electronics shops, etc.

If somebody or somebodies would feed me corrections and restaurant
locations, I could easily put together something similar. We'd want to
print out something separate for the program book, though.

Penguicon has a GoogleMaps keycode and I did some preliminary work on getting a
restaurant guild going but I found out after a lot of research that the restaurant list I has was
out of date and very inaccurate. If we can get an accurate list of local restaurants I can create
a GoogleMap with out code right on the Con website. Someone also mentioned earlier about
putting reviews on the site, I would like to see people do this. I am the webmaster and can make
it possible but will anyone do it.
