I've met Miguel.  Maybe he's insane on computing issues, but in person he's a 
nice, fun guy, though I have no idea how good a fit he'd make with fen (Eric 
might know that, though).  However, last I knew (and my information is at 
least 5 years old) he was living in Brazil.  You'd need to check on that.
