We tried a bottle of chocolate Bock Beer a little while back.
Can't remember who made it, though, although it was a well
known label. Rather... sludgy.

Not to mention hot pepper ice cream-- and the Japanese have some REALLY
strange flavors (by our standards, at least-- shrimp ice cream, anyone?).
Chocolate as a beer ingredient actually works very well-- think of it as
a bittering agent, like hops. It's usually paired with roasty malts,
like in a porter or stout. What's weirder (but still neat) is
bubble-gum flavored beer; the yeast naturally produces the same flavor
molecule that's used to flavor JuicyFruit gum.
