Manga and anime have become big fannish interests too, but you see less of 
them at cons because there are anime conventions, which are hugely popular.

Reading your comment made me think of a question for Matt, though;  Have you 
seen the movie Galaxy Quest?  If so, did you have the same reaction to it?
