Hmm. Valid point, but I'm not sure that keeping locked rigidly on-topic is
very healthy for a con of this nature. Of the many mailing lists I've been
on over the years, I've noticed a strong tendency towards an inverse
relationship between moderation (to keep things on topic) and list health. A
con isn't a list, but it does share a major component: it is a social thing.
Social things wither and die under strict conditions, and tend to flourish
when allowed to grow naturally. Guns, for example are a mere one degree of
seperation from Linux when ESR is a guest. Including something so closely
related doesn't seem the least bit wrong to me. If Bruce Schneier is a
guest, then lock bumping would also be a close relative for that con.
