Do you have ad-blocking software enabled? The header is called
banner.png, and there's probably software out that there will block
anything called "banner.*".


Another possibility is that the header image is just loading a lot
slower than the rest of the page. It's 223k which is quite a lot for
an image this size. Users on slower Internet connections won't see it
for a few seconds while users on dialup-quality links won't see the
whole thing for a couple minutes. I've converted the header to use an
indexed color map which brings it down to 75k. The tradeoff is only a
slight decrease in visual quality.

I also created a JPEG version which further drops the size to 34k, but
it loses the transparent rounded corners (which aren't being used in
the current design anyway).

Feel free to use one of them, Ron, if you think it'll help.

For those experiencing rendering issues on their browser of choice, it
would probably assist Ron greatly if you could send a screenshot of
what you're seeing.
