[Penguicon-Concom] Weekday Programming Meeting

Since this was my first meeting and I don't know if minutes are sent  
out or not, I figured I would send this out to you all:

IGDA is going to rent the room Sat night, I will get out and pay I  
believe it was Aaron for the room.

Game related Panels proposed:

1. Game Camps - www.gamecamp.org - A summer week long camp for middle  
and high school age students to learn about game development and the  
industry.  They are trained in workplace skills and the tools involved  
to make games.

2. Get in the game - what it takes to make it into the game  
development industry.

3. Making a Game - what is the general process.

As you can tell the last two could probably be combined into one or not.

As related to Podcasting, I would be willing to sit on a panel about  
podcasting, which I would venture to say would be something along  
these lines:  "Podcasting and the wide open new media format."

As I had mentioned, beyond that, there will not be much on the  
podcasting side.

As an aside, it also must be asked, since it isn't too clear on the website:

What do we get for participating in the panel?  What do we get for  
hosting a room party?  Beyond what is stated on the site?  Any free  
passes to the con and such?
