[Penguicon-Concom] A question from a member about a book to sell

Whilst planning the computer lounge for 5.0, we had quite the heated
debate on the GLLUG mailing list about children and violent games on
the gaming machines. One camp seemed 100% positive that we were
inviting legal trouble just by having violent FPS games (Unreal
Tournament, etc) available for play in the lounge.

Eventually the decision was made (by me) that the more violent games
would be allowed because nearly every year's program book has had the
disclaimer that Matt pointed out. Also, signing waivers and
babysitting and all of the other suggestions put forth would have been
a burden on our volunteers.

Ron is right, there should be an unattended child disclaimer right
there on the pre-reg form. And all of the other registration forms as
well.
