[Penguicon-Concom] Help needed from the Great Penguicon Community

Well like the subject says we need some help and I figured since Penguicon tries its best to be as open as it can be about everything I would turn to the lists for some.

Here is the backstory, We are trying to get all of the data from years 3-5 back online so it can have its place in history. Currently we only have year 1,2 and the current year(6) online. To get years 3-5 back into history we need some help from everyone.


What we want from everyone and that includes you. We would like everyone to search the web and find some great open and free to use web design templates so we can get the collective of years 3-5 out of the archives on my computer and back on the web. The reason we need some good templates is that years 3-5 where done in Zope&Plone and the only thing we will have once I export the data is the raw data and we would like to stay away from Zope&Plone going forward.


There is one place online that I know of that has OpenSource Web Design templates and that is www.oswd.org. All of the templates there are free and open. But sadly many of them are for lack of a better word are crap. 


Now if you are a great web template designer and you would like to create a very nice template complete with CSS and the like for Penguicon to use for getting the old archival data back online that is also perfectly acceptable. But keep in mind that we might not use it if as a collective we decide that it is not the look we would like to go for.

To keep things fare I think after a few weeks of everyone sending in there suggestions or templates I will put up the suggestion/submissions some where on the site and open a poll so that everyone can vote on there favourites.  And the top three will go up on the web as the templates for the archival sites for years 3-5. Now if you are going to create a template and feel that you need more that say two weeks to create it let me know and I will be more than happy to give you the extra time. But I would like to try to keep the time frame for suggestions and submissions down to
 again everyone, Penguicon would like your help getting this data back on the web for histories sake.
