[Penguicon-Concom] I know it's early,
but I'm already thinking about this...

And besides... Penguicon is not running the raffle. I happen to be running
the raffle and I'm just doing it at the hotel. The hotel let me put up
signs (I asked them) and yes, Ops did nicely allow me to leave the cashbox
there and sold tickets for me while I was busy taking care of Randy
Milholland. And yes, John let me talk on the Mic, though I always made a
point of saying that "I" was running the raffle. Penguicon was nice enough
to let me have it there, but Penguicon was not hosting the raffle.
If Penguicon does not allow me to run the raffle in convention space, then
I'll be running it in a room party. No one is making money off of this
other than the Charity. In fact, I lost money last year buying stuff for
the raffle and I'm not planning on claiming it as a charitable deduction on
my taxes... I did it because I wanted to help a friend and a charity, and if
the state wants to come after me if I go slightly over the $100 value on
prizes, then they'll be going after me, not Penguicon.
