A few years back I took the action of getting a google maps api key
from google for penguicon. I intended to use it to create resturant
maps on the website but could never get my hands on reliable
restaurant listings far enough in advance of the con to do so. I am
sure I could take an afternoon to hash together a google map of all of
the penguicon concom/staff. and while I am at it since we are at the
same hotel this year I might as well start work on a good google map
of all of the restaurants near the hotel.
Matt,
If you can send me the addresses of all the concom/staff I will run
them through the google coordinate generator to get map coordinates to
make the map with. We can put said map in a password protected
directory so only concom/staff have access to it even though it wont
have address info on it.
