Right off the top of my head:
*It would increase availability - when is the last time Google went down?
*It would allow us to stop using forwards and contain all emails to a
department for perusal in future years.
*It would make the management of email accounts and such easier for the
administrator.
*It would allow us to place our Google docs in a job-related account rather
than a volunteer-related account (meaning, all of our sponsorship stuff
won't be in Matt Arnold's Google docs, counting on Matt's continued good
will and survivability, but in the "sponsorship" account, accessible by the
manager and whoever is currently running sponsorship... etc)
These are just the benefits I see off the cuff.
