Hi Howard,

I just wanted to get your thoughts about Penguicon this year.

Because of the late notice, I can't schedule you for a worthy array of
panels without throwing the whole schedule into disarray. The
webcomics panels are pretty full, mostly, although you can certainly
join whichever ones you would like. The only events you are currently
on are Chupaquesos and the revisiting of "This Topic Intentionally
Left Blank" from Linucon. Steve Jackson already bowed out of that one,
and I suspect Eric Raymond might as well; I am still firming up his
schedule with him.

So the reason I haven't been trumpeting your return from the rooftops
recently is that people would say "hey, they publicized Howard and I
didn't get to see him do anything." So, I mentioned on the Chaos
Machine page on the Penguicon website that you are going to be there
and might be seen tinkering on the machine throughout the weekend, and
left it at that.

That's my thought at this point, strategically-speaking. What are your
thoughts? Do you want to have a sort of low-key year? Please feel free
to request any events that you would enjoy participating in.
