Hi Jer --

Let me look through my info and dig up the contact information for the Embassy.

We started with a 20 room block at the Embassy, they were booked
pretty tight because of the gem show that was being held there. We
were able to get those rooms (two room suites) for $99, and that
included a free full breakfast and the 5pm wine reception. Plus they
have a hot tub there.

Even though we arranged a larger block, those were larger suites and
were running around $120, so a lot of people had price resistance to
going there at that point. If we negotiate now, we can probably get a
block of 60 rooms or so, and that would probably cover our needs.

Personally, I'd rather stay at the Embassy -- better ameneties and
away from the convention. Not to mention the hot tub, the free
breakfast, and the evening wine reception.

Now as for using the space over at the Embassy -- if we had some
private functions (such as a wedding) and that sort of thing, that
space would be ideal. I will note that the staff at the Embassy is a
lot less willing to work with us than at the Hilton. No where near as
con friendly. Just a heads up...
