[Penguicon-Concom] SMOP party happenings

Just a brief report for those of you who had to miss it:

A good time was had by all who were able to make it to our First
Official SMOP (Secret Masters of Penguicon) party. In addition to our
semi-illustrious Chair, John Guest, we were graced by La Penguinista,
Tracy Worcester, Minister of Fun Matt Arnold, OpenCola God Chuck, two
Rachels, one Dawn (me), and former ConChair Aaron Thule and his friend,
Matt. (Forgive me, for I don't know the last names of one of the
Rachels and of the second Matt.) 

Pizza and munchies were eaten, good conversation was had, and Nefarious
SchemesTM were hatched. Penguicon 4.0 was "Matt the Second's" first
Penguicon, so he was able to offer some valuable insight about the
image and welcome we present to newbies.

I had to leave before the evening was over, but I presume those
gathered agreed to continue with the original SMOP schedule, which
means that the second SMOP event will take place on Friday, Aug. 4.
Remember - all Concom members and potential members are welcome, so put
it in your calendar!
