[Penguicon-Concom] Set up appropriate to Technical conferences

I was just at a couple conferences in a row for work, and I wrote a
note to myself at one of them that Penguicon should have classroom
tables, notepads, and pens set out for the attendees for some of the
tech tracks at penguicon. Even if we don't put out classroom tables,
I noted that the smaller rooms at one conference still had a pile of
notepads and pens on the water station at the back of the room, so
people had something to take notes with.

These were just little notepads and pens provided by the hotel. I
wonder if it would be worth it for Penguicon to look into getting this
service from our hotel?

Alternatively, and as another point, pens are not that expensive a
printed giveaway (at least, they weren't when Bill and I made a batch
for our wedding) - we could have pens specific to penguicon, with the
website URL on them and such.

It just seems like professional technical conferences have this. not
sure if we're still hoping to some day have that during-the-day-friday
hard core technical track again, but if we want to be viewed as a
technical conference (in part), maybe we should have some of the
vestiges of one.

best,

--Anne
