Brendan,

Currently, there is a distinct possibility of having another Black
Sweater Party. I am very, very interested in feedback that could
influence that decision, and even more interested in suggestions about
how the event can be made less traumatic for hotels.

The potential Holy War between Subgenius and Pastafarians, as
described thus far in our brainstorming, revolved entirely around
dressing up as pastamancers and pirates and brandishing pool noodles
at each other. In my wildest dreams I can't imagine how any hotel
could have a problem with that. But Rob Landley said that Fade Marley
asked about "catering" for some reason, which suggested to me that she
knew of Subgenius Holy Wars as a pre-existing concept that has been
done elsewhere. I'm currently investigating that for ideas.
