Is it possible that I could see the budget?  I'd very much like to offer 
thoughts if I come up with any.

This seems like a bad idea to me.  Especially after the black sweater party 
went SO HORRIBLY WRONG as far as the hotel was concerned, last year.  Or 
perhaps you're thinking something kind and friendly involving tea parties, 
in which case, carry on.

Why is the GoH dinner cancelled?  Or did we mean the banquet?  The GoH 
dinner is typically the Thursday night before the con (for ConCom, GoHs), 
whereas the banquet is a hotel dinner put on to make money and sell tickets. 
  I assume that's what's been cancelled.
