[Penguicon-Concom] Trying for a more positive tone

The point of the entire concom having edit access on the whole website is to make sure stuff like this stays up to date.
For the page in question, http://www.penguicon.org/wiki/ConCom, we just need to rename the page to concom4.0 and make a new page called concom5.0 for this years concom and make sure that the new page gets parented correctly. I would do it now but my list of concom is a home so I will do it tonight, keep in mind the concom is still a little incomplete so the new page will be also.
On the incomplete concom idea, If John can give me a list of the empty concom positions I should be able to put something up on the website kinda like a job postings section so people can apply for the open concom positions. If John want me to that is. This would let people know that we have a few openings and it would also give them a way to contact the person that matters. Some people that want to help don't know who to contact so they don't contact anyone.

Yeah, the wiki seems to have gone a bit static since 4.0 went down. I
don't think starting over from scratch is a great idea, though. After
all, there's lots of good info on there and recreating the bits that
will stay the same would eat up a lot of time. It might be good,
however, to take a snapshot of the wiki as it currently stands for
archival purposes. After that's done somebody, or multiple somebodies,
could go through and tag pages that need updating for 5.0. (I'd be
willing to help out.)

Agreed. Perhaps we could make a concerted effort to get this page up
to date over the next week or two:
