I would like to make a formal request for our website, first to the ConChair
for This year, Gerald.   Second to the ConChair for 2009, Matt Arnold.
Finally, to the Penguicon Board, to take up at our next meeting.

I formally request that this piece of code be added to the Footer data of
our website:

The text can be modified any way you like.


Reason:   This link is to a page which includes 5400 false email addresses,
and includes a further link that leads to a duplicate page, which generates
5400 more, and the cycle repeats.    When a site-scraper passes across our
site they will be sent to a veritable goldmine. . . OF fools gold, filling
their database with false email addresses.   In the future, when the author
manages to produce code that will allow us to generate similar pages
locally, I will lobby for us to host such a thing locally.

Hopefully, tools like this will reduce the likelihood of our actual email
addresses being harvested and used, by rendering the email address databases
too full of false addresse to justify keeping.
