Subject: [Board] Buying advertising on SP for Penguicon.

A quick check of the coffers here shows Penguiocn (or at least me) can afford
to buy $250 worth of advertising from you right now. Some of that's going to
have to go to paying you to make a banner ad (because we haven't got one
that's any good), and the rest should go to to running it for as many days as
there is money to run it (which is entirely up to you). Top ad or side add,
whatever you've got space for coming up first.

Where do I send the check, and what info do you need from us?

Off the top of my head: You, John Kovalic, and Bruce Schneier are the Guests
of Honor. There's two more GOH slots but I dunno who's in 'em. Plus Steve
Jackson and Eric Raymond are returning (although in a less scheduled, more
relaxed capacity), and probably Howard Tayler too but I need to confirm that.
I'm sure there's more but they seem to be fiddling with the website. Hey
Board of Directors: Who else is confirmed so far? (You might want to get at
least a _postal_ registration thingy up on the website by the time this ad
goes live.)

There's liquid nitrogen ice cream and caffeinated jello, panels, filk,
masquerade, free 802.11g wireless, a computer room, a Linux installfest,
several different types of gaming, more panels, the Chaos Machine, anime...
Alas, "fun with thermite" would probably upset the hotel even more than
dumping liquid nitrogen in the pool last year could have (yes, that was us).
We might have a writing workshop and Linux tutorials but it's early days yet
and scheduling is still in progress...
