If I was planning to do more than show up to hand in my resignation, I'd 
probably put more effort into trying to get there.

I also really don't want to have to deal with Matt.  If you're wondering why I 
haven't answered his last message to me on the list, it's because John told 
me to stop posting (and he's right).  But I don't particularly want to deal 
with Matt in person anymore, either.

I almost walked away from Penguicon last time I was in Michigan and spoke to 
him in person at John's house, over something to do with the website.  At the 
time I didn't realize there was a pattern, and by the time I did I no longer 
particularly cared.  I don't feel I can speak freely on the board list 
because Matt's on it and jumps in with objections and turf wars even to 
brainstorming sessions.  It seems he and I can't contribute to the same event 
for long, and I have no interest in challenging his authority or fighting him 
for control.  (Those shouldn't even be _issues_.)
